The ferry port of Orzola lies at the very north of Lanzarote and has exactly one job: the crossing to La Graciosa. Ferries leave up to 36 times a day and the crossing takes around 30 minutes. The port is served by Biosfera Express and Lineas Romero, which both run the same route.

Getting there and the terminal

The Puerto de Órzola is on Calle La Quemadita in 35541 Órzola, in the village of the same name at the northern tip of the island. Biosfera Express has its address there too. For the route, the Lanzarote tourist board gives a frequency of roughly one departure every 30 minutes.

What waits on the other side shapes how you travel: La Graciosa has no surfaced roads. The Lanzarote tourist board calls it one of the last places in Europe without asphalt. Your car therefore stays on Lanzarote, and you explore the island on foot or by bike. You arrive at Caleta de Sebo, the island's main village: that is where the accommodation, bike hire and shops are, and where the tracks into the rest of the island begin. Around six kilometres of water separate the two islands, which is why the crossing is so short.
