The ferry port of Tokushima is on Shikoku in Japan. From here you can reach Wakayama. There are up to 16 sailings a day. The crossing takes around 2.25 hours. The port is served by Nankai Ferry.
Getting there and the terminal
The terminal is at Minami-Okinosu 5-7-39 on the southern edge of Tokushima. From the Tokushima Okinosu exit it is about five minutes by car. From JR Tokushima station it takes around 15 minutes by taxi and about 25 minutes by municipal bus. The car park at the terminal is free and has 100 spaces; once it is full you cannot leave your car there.
Check-in
Vehicles are handled drive-through in Tokushima: you stay in the car and drive up to the vehicle desk at the back of the building. Nankai Ferry asks you to be at the desk at least 30 minutes before departure; a reservation lapses 15 minutes before departure. On foot you can board from 15 minutes before departure, and your check-in should be complete by then.
