Valencia ferry port lies on the Spanish Mediterranean coast and, alongside Barcelona, is the most important mainland port for the Balearics. From here you can reach 4 destinations: Palma on Mallorca, Ibiza, Mahon on Menorca and Mostaganem in Algeria. Together the services run up to 18 departures a day, and crossings take between 6.75 and 15 hours. The port is served by Balearia, Grandi Navi Veloci and Trasmed.
Getting there and the terminal
The port has several berths, and the operators use different ones. The Valenciaport port authority lists Balearia at the Muelle Turia with its own Estación Marítima; Grandi Navi Veloci gives Muelle Perfecto Palacio, 46024 Valencia, as its terminal and ticket-desk address. By car you follow the Puerto / Terminal Pasajeros signs from the V-30 or the A-7, and there is guarded parking right by the quay. The nearest EMT bus stop is Pont de les Drassanes, about 15 minutes' walk away. Foot passengers with Grandi Navi Veloci travel free of charge on a shuttle bus between the Edificio del Reloj and the desk at Muelle Perfecto Palacio.
Check-in
For the Balearic routes Grandi Navi Veloci requires you to be at the boarding area two hours before departure, with or without a vehicle. Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure.
