Osaka ferry port is on Honshu in Japan. From here you can reach Shinmoji, Busan and Toyo. Together the services run up to 10 departures a day. Crossings take between 8 and 17 hours. The port is served by Hankyu Ferry, Kansai Orange Ferry, Meimon Taiyo Ferry and Panstar Cruise.
Getting there and the terminal
Osaka has two ferry berths, and they are not next to each other. The domestic ferries leave from the Osaka Nanko ferry terminal, Nanko-Minami 2-2-24 in Suminoe ward. From the New Tram station Ferry Terminal, turn left beyond the barrier and walk about ten minutes to the berth. There is no car park of its own at the terminal; Meimon Taiyo Ferry points to the car parks in the surrounding area. The service to Busan, by contrast, runs from the Osaka International Ferry Terminal: about a 15-minute walk from Cosmosquare underground station, and Panstar Cruise also runs a free shuttle bus from stop 2, timed to the sailings.
Check-in
For departures from Osaka Nanko, check-in has to be complete 60 minutes before the ship sails. Add the ten-minute walk from the station to the berth.
