Ferries to Auckland

The ferry port of Auckland on New Zealand's North Island is the central hub for ferry services around the country's largest city. Numerous ferries run from here every day to the surrounding islands in the Hauraki Gulf, such as Waiheke, Rangitoto and Great Barrier Island.

Ferries to Bluff

Bluff is New Zealand's southernmost port and the departure point for ferries to Stewart Island (Rakiura). The Stewart Island Experience ferry crosses the Foveaux Strait daily in about an hour.

The ferry port of Tryphena lies on the south coast of Great Barrier Island in the Hauraki Gulf near Auckland and is the island's largest settlement. Ferries run from here to Auckland several times a week, and the crossing takes about four and a half hours.
