Ferries to Corfu

Ferries to Corfu

The ferry port of Corfu is on the east side of the Greek island in the Ionian Sea, near the capital of Corfu Town, and as one of the northernmost ports on Greece's west coast it links the island with Italy, Albania, the Greek mainland and other Ionian islands. The most important ferry connections are Saranda in Albania, Igoumenitsa on the Greek mainland and Paxi, with regular services also running to Brindisi and Venice in Italy.

Ereikoussa (Erikousa) is one of the Diapontia Islands north-west of Corfu. Kerkyra Lines runs 3 ferries a week in summer, and the crossing from Corfu takes about 2.5 hours. It is the northernmost inhabited Ionian island.

The ferry port of Ithaca, the island of Odysseus, is at Pisaetos in the south-west, not in the main town of Vathy. Levante Ferries takes 15 minutes from Sami on Kefalonia and around 3.75 hours from Patras.

Kythira is a Greek island between the Peloponnese and Crete. SeaJets runs ferries to Piraeus (about 6.5 hours), Antikythera, Gythio and Kissamos on Crete. The ferries sail several times a week.

Ferries to Mathraki

Mathraki is the smallest of the Diapontia Islands north-west of Corfu. Kerkyra Lines runs 3 ferries a week from Corfu Town (3h 20min), and in summer also from Agios Stefanos (45 min). The small harbour is at Plaka.

Ferries to Othonoi

Othonoi is the westernmost island of Greece, in the Diapontia Islands. Kerkyra Lines links the harbour of Ammos with Corfu (3-4 hours) with about 5 departures a week. Cars can be carried on the ferries.

Ferries to Paxi

The ferry port of Paxi is at Gaios, the main village of the smallest inhabited Ionian island south of Corfu. Ferries run from here all year to the neighbouring islands of Corfu and Antipaxi and to the mainland port of Igoumenitsa.

The ferry port of Zakynthos is in the island capital of the same name on this southernmost of the larger Ionian islands, known for the famous Navagio bay. Levante Ferries runs 5 to 8 crossings a day from Kyllini on the Peloponnese, and the journey takes about 1 hour 15 minutes.
